I always go to the gym about 2 hours after work, 4-5 days a week. Eat enough carbs and take my pre workout and I'm usually good to go.

Pre workout is a blessing for you then , yeah

2018-09-30 21:02:55 UTC

Take it after work

2018-10-01 00:42:06 UTC

How many hours of sleep are you getting each night?

2018-10-01 01:39:18 UTC

I get like 6

2018-10-01 01:42:39 UTC

I try and get 8, but usually end up at 6-7

2018-10-01 01:42:43 UTC

I'm making gains so it's all good

2018-10-01 01:45:28 UTC

7-9. Sleep is number one factor in health, happiness, recovery, brain health

2018-10-01 01:46:11 UTC

Arnold says all you need is 6 hours. "sleep faster"

2018-10-01 01:46:23 UTC

granted he's probably just saying that because it sounds good

2018-10-01 01:46:28 UTC

2018-10-01 01:46:31 UTC

🤔

2018-10-01 01:47:33 UTC

sleep 20 hours, gym 2, eat 2

2018-10-01 01:48:16 UTC

honestly it's all about sleep and diet

2018-10-01 01:48:33 UTC

gym 30 minutes, eat 10 hours, sleep 10 hours, watch anime 3 hours and 30 minutes

2018-10-01 03:05:25 UTC

@NITRODUBS that’s your problem. You need to go to bed earlier.

2018-10-02 04:26:30 UTC

noticing the lack of calves too

2018-10-02 04:27:57 UTC

Yeah I have started training calves, albeit on the dreaded MACHINES. Calves recover more quickly than most, IIRC

2018-10-02 04:29:27 UTC

I homegym it, calves are weird training without machines

2018-10-02 04:31:24 UTC

What is your method, @Deleted User ?

2018-10-02 04:31:38 UTC

How exactly do you guys train calves? I basically just do calf raises and a calf extension machine

2018-10-02 04:32:33 UTC

on the end of my bench is a quad extention bit, I put it up completely, slip my knees under and use it as an improvised seated calve raise

2018-10-02 04:32:45 UTC

There is a squat machine. I do actual squats in the free-weight barbell rack/cage. But I do calves in the machine, just raising up and down utilizing the elevation of the machine's foot platform as compared to the actual ground.

2018-10-02 04:32:59 UTC

can't really load a bunch of weight with this method sadly

2018-10-02 04:34:26 UTC

and i just do standing barbell calve raises

2018-10-02 04:34:48 UTC

but you gotta balance, so can't go super heavy either

2018-10-02 04:34:56 UTC

just my own limitations

2018-10-03 05:14:44 UTC
