is that a bed next to his floor blanket

2018-10-13 11:58:39 UTC

Yeah, Idk what's up with that. He's autistic, dude

2018-10-15 23:23:06 UTC

Boys. I did three one leg squats in a row on my right leg yesterday, and I did a 15 second L-sit today

2018-10-15 23:53:14 UTC

So you admit you're strengthening the left

2018-10-16 00:21:02 UTC

Damn

2018-10-16 00:21:52 UTC

Haha solid edit

2018-10-16 00:21:59 UTC

That's awesome though man, congrats!

2018-10-16 00:48:20 UTC

Thanks, homie

2018-10-16 01:01:22 UTC

Am physically incapable of one legged squats

2018-10-16 01:02:22 UTC

I just tried doing one

2018-10-16 01:02:25 UTC

Yep, that's hard

2018-10-16 01:02:39 UTC

Not so much from a strength standpoint, but keeping balance

2018-10-16 01:44:38 UTC

Flexibility is key for them as well

2018-10-16 01:46:30 UTC

I have horrible flexibility so that might be it

2018-10-16 01:47:28 UTC

When I was in community college, I took a PE class and we used a machine to test our flexibility and I couldn't even reach the machine

2018-10-16 01:49:48 UTC

Flexibility is the number one factor in being able to move around as we age

2018-10-16 01:50:05 UTC

If you dont want to be a crippled old man, I'd start stretching regularly

2018-10-16 11:05:29 UTC

one hour stretching session per week in addition to all of your pre-stretch workouts. I will say that when I grapple and spar with new guys who are powerful and muscular, I submit them much faster on average than I submit new guys who aren't. Their muscles, tendons, and ligaments are generally much tighter and they often have to tap to avoid injury before I even apply a submission. Again I ask, what's the point of being strong and powerful if it doesn't help you in a fight?

2018-10-16 13:42:38 UTC

@Deleted User lookin sexy 4 da ladies

2018-10-16 13:53:22 UTC

Good point.

2018-10-16 16:36:53 UTC

I don't think my flexibility is the problem, just the biomechanics

2018-10-16 16:37:09 UTC

that make a pistol squat nearly impossible for me

2018-10-16 16:37:45 UTC

I'm plenty limber as it is

2018-10-16 20:23:56 UTC

@Deleted User The appearance of power can often sway the actions of others in your favor.

2018-10-16 20:46:19 UTC

Better to have both the appearance and the substance imo

2018-10-16 20:46:29 UTC

For sure.

2018-10-16 20:46:57 UTC

And if I had to choose only one, I'd go for substance...

2018-10-16 21:33:39 UTC

Luckily those things usually go hand in hand

2018-10-16 21:49:25 UTC

Sometimes

2018-10-16 22:29:34 UTC

I'd say that 'usually' is more accurate than 'sometimes', but I'm no expert on martial combat, so I'll leave the discussion on that to more knowledgeable peeps.

2018-10-16 22:30:02 UTC

"*Intellectuals, please respond*"

2018-10-16 22:33:56 UTC

Uhh

2018-10-16 22:34:08 UTC
2018-10-16 22:34:26 UTC

I think Will could whip my ass and I've probably got 30 pounds on him.

2018-10-16 22:34:48 UTC

But yeah, the average guy doesn't train at all.

2018-10-16 22:35:11 UTC

So a weight/muscle advantage is usually a big deal.

2018-10-16 22:36:28 UTC

whoop your ass in what though, rolling?

2018-10-16 22:37:07 UTC

rolling is a controlled enviornment that in my opinion isn't incredibly reflective of overall ability
