Gonna get into muh airsoft for the cardio and fun every Sunday.
I've been playing for several years. It's great when your guns work.
I used to have a full arsenal of airsoft guns and played with a group of guys. Honestly, it was fun as hell. Haven't done it in about 10 years now though.
I've always wanted to get into airsoft and I still might in the future
Also, is this channel not as active because it's Winter?
Bulking season! *eats garbage*
<@&467800803315286046> and @Will - MD It looks like they aren't haveing the Warrior Dash in the same location for 2019. We should start talking about where we are going to do it this coming year.
where are the locations?
Would you guys say it's important to bulk first or cut?
I plan to start paying for a gym membership and go early in the morning
Are you chubby?
Yep, depends on your body type and prior experience.
If you're generic skinny fat, I'd recommend a clean bulk. Aim for 3-4 lbs a month at most. That's just me tho.
If you're fat, cut. If you're skinny fat, bulk and then cut. If you are skinny, bulk forever.
(Bulking Forever!)
Bulk forever for me then!
So just got out of surgery, I'm six weeks from actually lifting again 😱
😩
What is better for getting bigger, PPL or 5x5? And what rep scheme to focus on?
5x5 is geared for linear strength gain with a big focus on the compound lifts. Most PPL routines are a mix of strength & hypertrophy with a focus on compound lifts and classic bodybuilding lifts... Do your research and figure out what goals you have and proceed from there.
If you are a newbie, either routine is going to give you great results. If one of your major goals is looking and feeling good/healthy, I'd recommend PPL... that's my personal preference.
Does anybody here use preworkout or coffee?
I do but not constantly.
Nitroflex
If I train after work, preworkout. Usually I train first thing in the morning, and someone on here (please feel free to remind me who if you see this!) made the point that you shouldn't need extra energy first thing in the morning if you got enough rest. I do usually have coffee before going to work though.
I don't use anything, does music count?
Even if not for energy alone most preworkouts have lots of other good things in them that are beneficial for your workouts.
I always go after work. I work a physical job, so the extra energy helps sometimes. Regardless, I like the 'buzz' or tingly feeling. Optimum/Golden Standard pre-workouts have done me good. Wasn't a fan of Mr. Hyde.
If they include your creatine or BCAAs, that's a good bonus.
I like “AmiNO Energy” by Optimum Nutrition.
@Rogue why didn't you like Mr Hyde?
A lot of the tingly feeling but no real energy boost
I believe that “tingly” feeling is coming from the beta-alanine in the pre workout. I had a strange experience with C4 one time years ago where that tingling didn’t go away for about 2 days. Very strange.
