Why Are We Fighting?
Before answering this central question, perhaps it’s worth saying at first who this ‘we’ is. Thanks again for allowing me to lurk during the voice call. Lots of big brain ni🅱 🇧 as. One note I had on the Euro-Russian partnership discussion is that of an extremely cautious approach. We speak much about identity--the Russian identity can perhaps be best summarized as "the long con". The culture (at its strategic depth) and even the manner in which they construct sentences is indicative of a patient end-goal. Mother Evropa and the Russians would do well to form bonds of brotherhood in the sense detailed by Faye, but she must never let her guard down.
