Haha. I think people think I’m weird as it is.
I’ll do it.
Good paragraph from Why We Fight
@Nemets Did you get the first or second edition (Medieval Russia)? Wondering how much it matters since I found a cheap version of the first edition.
bought the first ed. anyway, just wondering...
@Nemets I figured. It'll be nice to have some decent background knowledge on the region, just to better understand contemporary Russia both domestically and how it interacts with the US and the rest of the world.
I can’t recommend this book enough. Heard is 100 percent /ourguy/ and has great direction for the book. It’s a potential bridge for normies with tons of points that’ll get the noggin joggin.
The deconstruction and inversion of art was one of the first major attacks on the west. Modern art has been bleeding out our culture for over a century and it goes largely unaddressed. The book points out the who and the how. Plus, why traditional art was so crucial to the west.
Check it out.
Here are a few tir excepts
Aaand discord puts the images in the reverse order that they were selected 😡
Thanks
I would recommend roger scruton's 'why beauty matters' if you haven't seen it. Essentially the same topic.
I got it for $0.50 at a thrift store. Would it be worth giving it a quick read?
Oh I was talking about the documentary
Oh, ok
I’ve actually had people recommend that book to me, and I’m only just realizing I’ve seen the documentary for it on YouTube. It’s worth a watch.
^ whoops that can’t be right. The book “why beauty matters” is deconstructionist propaganda. In that case, I can’t remember this book recommendation. It’s not “the painted word” by Tom Wolfe, although that’s another good one if people like the decline and fall.
Tom Wolfe’s The Painted Word. Nothing you guys don’t know here, he just breaks down one way so few can guide so many.
From "African Population Projections: 1850-1960" by Patrick Manning
A few decades after their arrival, endogamous Sogdian merchants were already receiving privileges from the Chinese government and replacing Chinese culture with their own.
@Evan thanks for the two recommendations, I'm ordering on Amazon later today
You got it Mikolas. They’re good reads.

Also this is a good, generally bigger brained podcast that touches on some interesting topics—sponsored by Arktos
Damn we are way higher 25-45 years of age, males that is. I wouldn’t have thought it would be that long
What book is this
25 makes sense, but not really 45. Thats interesting
Book is The Social Leap by William Von Hippel
He's a liberal but awesome psychologist
His description of young males fails to recognize that men are more likely to risk for glory, die in wars, pursue dangerous careers thus having more "accidents."
Ya it’s definitely multi variable. We do it cause we have a higher reproductive output than women right? Women don’t benefit from a status and risk taking in a reproductive sense than men would
