That video popped up on my suggested videos this morning also: it’s what started me down this rabbit hole

2018-11-19 02:30:40 UTC

@Prestor John my kid has a huge stork bite

2018-11-19 02:32:15 UTC

It’s only gotten larger and brighter since I took this picture a few weeks ago

@missliterallywho we were big on dr seats but he is pushing hpv vaccine which makes us suspicious.

@Tanner - SC I’ll do you one better. I was talking about how the groves in my tongue are getting more pronounced, than I went to google it. Typing “Groov” auto populated “grooves in tongue” as the top result.

2018-11-19 05:48:04 UTC

There is zero credible evidence to suggest that vaccines are harmful except in cases where the immune system is so weak that the vaccine itself gives symptoms. That said, some like the annual flu vaccine are unnecessary. Please don't let your kids get polio though

2018-11-19 05:51:22 UTC

My qualms were never with the “vaccine” itself, more with all the other crap that gets injected with it. Heavy metals like aluminum; I’m no expert but I just don’t understand the need for that in my tiny little babies bloodstream

2018-11-19 06:10:12 UTC

In related news a whole bunch of our greatest allies dont vax either

The typhus outbreak in LA is a prime example of that

2018-11-19 20:23:00 UTC

Unfortunately, it can't always be avoided. Even in a place as white as Montana, your neighbors might catch something on a trip to Disneyland or something

2018-11-26 04:01:07 UTC

@TMatthews what about kids with the mTHFR mutation? My wife claims this increases risk of adverse reaction to the heavy metals in vaccines.

2018-11-28 02:49:17 UTC

Do you guys do Santa? I’m not keen on lying to the kids but Santa is trad.

2018-11-28 06:07:36 UTC

@Prestor John Saint Nicholas was a real person, it would be weird to make St. Nick the main focus of the entirety of Christmas, but the real Saint Nicholas has had a role in winter holiday celebrations for over a thousand years at this point. It's not as flash-bang as Coca-Cola Santa but the more real version St. Nick is not totally alien or weird to the culture either. http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/st.-nicholas-reveals-the-true-spirit-of-giving http://www.stnicholascenter.org/pages/gift-giving/

2018-11-29 03:00:37 UTC

I will not tell my future children that Santa is real. I still have a chip on my shoulder about being lied to as a kid about that and other things.

2018-11-29 12:26:20 UTC

@Tanner - SC I felt that way too before red pilling. There is something about tradition that is now appealing. I plan to answer questions with questions. Dad is Santa coming to our house? I don’t know son what do you think? I won’t squash dreams or fantasies but I will not lie or pass my authority to a coke a cola ad. I think @ThisIsChris ‘s Suggestion of Telling the story of ST nick is going to fit in as well.

2018-11-29 13:04:34 UTC

Most of tradition does not involve lying to children. They place a tremendous trust in parents to tell them the truth because that’s all they have to go on. I won’t take advantage of that power disparity.

2018-11-29 17:11:32 UTC

@Tanner - SC see i disagree about that, but maybe because ur parent came out and said he wasnt real when u were young? I dont know. But for me we were raised beliveing in Santa and it was great. Eventually we figured it out and it didnt effect us me or my sister

2018-11-29 17:12:08 UTC

And as we got older we would still put from santa on present s to our parents now and then.

2018-11-29 17:12:33 UTC

Guess it was kinda fun to keep playing along.

2018-11-29 17:17:56 UTC

Same here @SuperTomPerry -RI We still continue to put from Santa on certain presents & the kids all know this and are also carrying on the tradition.

2018-11-29 17:18:35 UTC

It also just meant that we knew that present was extra special in its own way too.

Has anyone had experience with Freedom Project Academy for home schooling?

2018-12-11 13:17:52 UTC

What are your Thoughts on Thomas the Train Engine: Consumerist BS or Trad hierarchy lesson?

2018-12-11 14:59:29 UTC

Before or after the refugee trains?

2018-12-11 15:13:37 UTC

I grew up on Thomas! Always loved it, hate how they’re trying to shoe horn multi culti trains into it as of late. Having the old school wooden tracks that can be put together really made me interested in machines and construction as a little boy, so that can be a positive take away if anything

2018-12-11 19:14:56 UTC

@Prestor John As @Grossly Incandescent said, I was a huge fan of Thomas the Tank Engine as a kid. That being said, there is clearly a full-on infiltration campaign going on at any PBS and PBS-like show. While ideally kids wouldn't need characters, realistically speaking I know that's such a thing (I don't know if it's biological or not) but what I'll be doing is eskewing any 19th-21st century characters from Western countries. So for our kids it's going to be a combination of things like Aesop's fables, plus possible East Asian based characters like Mario. East Asian countries are likely to resist the homosexual-industrial complex better than Western ones.

2018-12-13 01:08:24 UTC

I’ve not seen any ethnic trains except the mechanic. Maybe we only have the old ones.

There’s is are dope and the boy loves them. I’m building a train table for Christmas.

2018-12-13 01:42:13 UTC

Few things capture ye olde "faustian spirit" better than a steam engine hollaring its way through an impassable cliff face in the mountains with a thousand tons of cargo in tow.

2018-12-13 02:58:20 UTC

@Prestor John ethnic trains:

My friend's sister is very pregnant right now and is bored and asking for podcasts

2018-12-20 06:57:07 UTC

Is there anything that promotes our ideas a bit that would be appealing to a fairly apolitical soon to be mother?

2018-12-20 16:13:24 UTC

Dan Carlin's hardcore history. Select Myth of the 20th Century Episodes.
