Slavic mythology is mostly artificially reconstructed because 19th century romanticists didn't use proper sources and there are very few good sources of info anyway. The entire Serbian nation is based on the ideas of St. Sava etc. Being pagan also doesn't mean you have the same principles as any other pagan group either, it's just a vague umbrella term and someone adhering to the Romuva faith doesn't necessarily agree with the principles or ideals of someone who believes in Hellenic mythologic.

I sympathize with Asatru and i also sympathize with National socialism, i sympathize with all forms of pagan belifs and customs within the borders of europe because it's what we were before foreign intervention in the forms of culture and religion. I know what i want us to be and value again. I'm not distracted, i see what needs to happen in order to make us free again.

Asatru beleifs are largely what we make of them, there are no surviving proper forms of the religion to speak of, only a few poems and stories, in the main case written down by a christian.
