I'm going to be brutally honest, and it may make you uncomfortable. Uncomfortable is a good thing, it'll make you feel like you need to do something to adjust yourself.
Think of yourself, think of what you joined this family for. Deep down, why are you here?
Now, if this is as true a passion for you as when you first started, what have you done to push the team forward? What are you going to do to push the team forward?
We can sit here day after day and message on our phones, computers, tablets, etc.. but what is truly being done?
For me? I've started a non-profit to make us legal. I've started a new website and forum. All paid out of my pocket. Don't get me wrong, I don't want anything for it, that it my contribution. I've created recruiting flyers and am in the process of distributing around my community.
I've got a meeting with a State Representative to promote positive exposure for us and what we believe.
So again, I ask, what are you doing to push us forward? What are you doing to get involved? We can all complain and bitch about what's happening around us, but nothing is going to change until we take action. We sure as hell cannot promote any negative momentum towards this group. We tout that we are above board and legal, and it needs to stay that way.
Our biggest priorities need to be financial donors and recruiting. When we get those, the other priorities become easy.
