Also Sears is pretty much kill as of today
Debt holders are trying to force it into bankruptcy, I heard. I guess the settlement they’d get now is probably more than they’d get if they waited for the inevitable implosion?
> short Sears
> value goes to zero
> you now have infinity dollars
>Short sears
>company doesn’t exist at end of period
>no one to give sears shares back to because no shares
>I am sears now
lmao you can still buy Blockbuster stock
>register IE hedge fund
>identitarian value investing and massive hoarding of obscure haypenny stocks
now this is what real white men invest in
>beta
>-17
Lmfao wtf
you can buy the entire company for $67,695.20
They haven’t posted a balance sheet or anything since 2011
If this beta is literally -17 I have found the ultimate hedge
By ultimate I mean absolutely haunted
$67,695.20 market cap / 800 IE members = $84.62 per member
EV would be market cap + debt
(And preferred stock but lol)
@Jacob They had lots of Blockbusters in Alaska (Anchorage + suburbs, Juneau and Fairbanks, and towns along the in-betweeh highways) as recent as 2012. I guess they shut down after Alaska finally got high-speed internet.
I read about it a few months ago. Apparently there's only 1 left 😢
@Jacob There's a little independent rental place in my small OK town. But it makes most of its money as a furniture rental/sales store. It has always doubled. Strangely!
lol some Danish streaming service bought the rights to the "Blockbuster" name
> IE buys out Blockbuster
> gets royalties from Danish streaming service
This stock has been halted since yesterday, tf?
wat mean
@Deleted User it means the exchange has halted trading on it until further notice. Halting happens sometimes, usually only lasts a few hours. It's usually when a gigantic spike in volume causes something weird to happen like crashing the company. In the mean time you can't buy or sell and shares
No, no I understand halting already
just wondering why its been halted this damn long
since close yesterday
Guess I found my answer, but why does it require being halted? Don't other companies just keep trading while getting something reviewed?
@Deleted User yeah that is odd, I thought 99% of trading biotech stocks is to make money during FDA approvals
> The company is also one of just two other global giants that have implemented pay equality across all levels, including low-level employees and top executives.
Could have built the wall with this money

Great resource for anyone interested in defense/tech/intelligence companies.
@SamanthaM Pertaining to the above do you know anything about Thales Group/Arms? My family has a large amount invested in them.
