I never really liked Catholicism as an institution. It is clearly a corrupted institution today and throughout history. It made up lies (such as Purgatory) to take people's money and build the Pope a castle. Not to mention their primary motive was power for many centuries. Today, you have the face of Catholicism: Pope Francis himself who is one of the most despicable things to ever happen to Christian faith.
Theres nothing wrong with centering all of your faith on the Bible and engaging in an intimate, personal frienship with God yourself. No need for the middle man

Where even does the bible say other than accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and savior (which is the one and only unforgivable sin) is required to not be thrown into Hell for eternity?
the thing is, and were all indanger of doing it (proof texting) but if the assumption that the word of God is without error and contradiciton, then where we see 2 apparent verses against eachother, its us who are wrong.
