He would've died before he had completed the translation. And sure, he could have gotten extensive security but then again, this is all a part of the Lord's plan.

Because it needed to be printed and such. The original manuscripts were important so they could make copies.

You can spread the word and His kingdom, however, it is so that he can spread it through faith and experience. The knowledge we gain on earth through our trials and choices we make

Its goes against the foundation of God, God man us to build a relationship with us not hide a piece of important that can help build the relationship with him

I believe God would want people of quality rather than quantity, though he loves us all so much, He has given us agency as a gift and will never take that away from us...if that makes sense.

Then why take away the golden plates?

So that people can be tried in faith.

And to me people of quality seek the truth and if there isn’t enough evidence to prove Joseph Smith is telling the truth then I’m not gonna believe it.

Otherwise, there would be none.

But, shouldn't we have a rational faith based on evidence?
