This is why I celebrate the 4th of July.
thats a reason we revolted
westward expansion was limited
by the crown
"it doesn't matter what you personally think" "I dont personally care about it"
"we can choose what to celebrate"
they drew a settlement line at the appalachians
anyone can choose what they want to celebrate
"We don't glorify warfare"
i had to do it to 'em
monuments to fallen soldiers
civil war monuments
how am I not FREER if I have more RESOURCES to FREELY kill other people
"Do you think Americans now glorify violence?" American sniper grossed more than $500 Million so yeah
“You don’t have a nuance take in history”
“Only wars of liberation are good and I don’t care about what 4th of July represents”
"americans don't glorify violence" as the country with the world's highest Military budget
america retains quite a marshall culture overall
by the seem of it
our gun culture is openly autistic people talking about how they might need to slot feds
"taking of land = capitalism"
big brain take
@Holo Spice our current debate is America, guy is saying you guys don't glorify violence
Among other things
Violence is rooted in a quest for identity. The American image is largely inspired by the Western frontiersman where you had no name and had to trailblaze to prove yourself. That's another reason why Americans glorify violence.
whats the topic
Because historians say so
