Easier maintenance too.

Is DPMS any good? I'm very suspicious of an AR10 for $500.

2017-09-13 00:18:08 UTC

I've heard dpms are garbage. But I also heard that .308 is too rough on the ar platform and there are a lot of problems

2017-09-13 00:18:19 UTC

Yet people seem to like them so...

2017-09-13 00:21:03 UTC

Killing hogs with .308 sounds great

2017-09-13 00:33:42 UTC

I love the .308

2017-09-13 00:34:03 UTC

I'd go socom 16 personally

Have some of those and some zpacks I picked up internationally. You're gonna need a higher dosage and preferably fishmox (amoxicillin) for a wider range of effectiveness to common infections

2017-09-13 14:05:26 UTC

You may need anywhere from 500 to 1000mg a day for 10 days or so

2017-09-13 14:06:30 UTC

But all depends on the bacteria type infection

2017-09-13 14:13:58 UTC

Think you might be thinking of something other than doxy, the highest dose I know of is 125(?) Under 200 I know for sure. It's usually 1 100mg b.i.d. amoxicillin and clindamycin are usually on the higher end like 500. I got the capsules because it is possible to make a drip for post op or septicemia.

2017-09-13 14:14:56 UTC

Yeah that's what I was referring to the amoxicillin when I mentioned fish mox

2017-09-13 14:16:37 UTC

Doxy is fine though, didn't think of the drip that's a good call

2017-09-13 14:31:52 UTC

After i get my RN I'm thinking about doing some volunteer work in foreign lands. I know, I know working on dirt people for free, but working in an improvised OR sounds like a hell of a learning experience. I'm wanting to learn how to do local anesthetic basic surgeries for very just in case scenarios.

2017-09-13 14:48:44 UTC

Work in Europe

2017-09-13 14:49:54 UTC

Well probably better to make your learning mistakes on muds than huwhytes

2017-09-13 14:51:49 UTC

Yeah. Not to sound selfish for our group but I'd prefer you learn in rough conditions. Might prove more useful down the road.

2017-09-13 14:53:42 UTC

Just watched this and am in no mood to help people of color. Blood currently boiling.

2017-09-13 15:00:34 UTC

@Deleted User work in eastern Europe fuck the browns let them die naturally

2017-09-13 15:04:24 UTC

I mean, like was said, better to make mistakes on the muds lol, it's a double edge sword

2017-09-13 15:51:54 UTC

I could see that.

2017-09-13 15:52:16 UTC

The people of Ukraine sure could use some help though

2017-09-13 15:59:48 UTC

You're not gonna fuck up brother. You're gonna help. You'll do great.

2017-09-13 16:25:34 UTC

That video is seriously messed up.

2017-09-13 16:25:49 UTC

I am seething with anger

2017-09-13 16:25:56 UTC

Everyone report it

2017-09-20 21:44:31 UTC

Have we covered primitively fire techniques?

2017-09-20 22:44:59 UTC

Let's do upside down fire

2017-09-20 23:57:48 UTC

My personal favorite is the Dakota fire hole. I really want to try the self feeding fire though

2017-09-20 23:58:24 UTC

@Thomas Morrow rocket stoves?

2017-09-20 23:59:09 UTC

I haven't tried a rocket stove either.

2017-09-20 23:59:17 UTC

I've heard good things though

2017-09-21 00:01:29 UTC

I haven't tried one either. I would love to hear some feedback from someone who's used one though..
