2017-12-22 21:17:05 UTC

@this_that5553 I'll pitch in to buy an ambulance if you can get a driver and a few EMTs.

2017-12-22 21:41:18 UTC

Biggest problem with that would be licensing

2017-12-23 19:17:28 UTC

@ me in response please,

2017-12-23 20:02:59 UTC

@Deleted User Turned out it was sinusitis

2017-12-23 20:14:42 UTC

Yeah that's usually the case. Don't fuck around with pneumonia.

2017-12-24 01:57:24 UTC

I've had pneumonia a couple of times, not fun

2017-12-29 17:24:04 UTC

>there is a nationwide shortage of EMS

"Shortages" only exist when price is kept artificially low. So either regulation is keeping EMS salaries low enough that it's not worth doing, or the people who *want* more EMS aren't willing to *pay* for it, and so instead call it a “shortage”.

2017-12-29 19:15:03 UTC

From experience most of the work is not worth doing

2017-12-29 19:15:39 UTC

Take empress ems one the the biggest companies in the tri state area they pay 12 an hour to work in the hood of NYC and Yonkers

2017-12-29 19:16:03 UTC

2018-01-11 23:27:24 UTC

I'm certified in first aid/CPR by the red cross too

2018-01-11 23:27:37 UTC

What are the absolute essentials I should bring? what's the best remedy for pepper spray?

2018-01-11 23:28:02 UTC

2018-01-11 23:29:26 UTC

2018-01-11 23:34:40 UTC

Any drug store or Walmart or target or whatever

2018-01-11 23:34:50 UTC

Look with the tums and stomachs remedies

2018-01-11 23:35:00 UTC

Typically in a white or blue bottle, it’s a liquid

2018-01-11 23:36:45 UTC

you can get the store brand it will be the same ingredients

2018-01-11 23:45:55 UTC

is baby wash just baby soap?

2018-01-11 23:46:27 UTC

Yeah, get the store brand. You'll save at least 2 or 3 bucks. Just look at the active ingredients. They're the same. And avoid getting cherry or peppermint flavored antacid.

2018-01-11 23:46:39 UTC

And yes, baby wash is just baby soap

2018-01-11 23:47:04 UTC

It just has to be marked at "tear free".

2018-01-11 23:51:46 UTC

Awesome thank you

2018-01-13 01:07:16 UTC

I couldn't find plain flavored antacid. it was all flavored

2018-01-13 09:57:55 UTC

if I can't find plain liquid antacid, will the flavored stuff work? are there any good substitutes? @Erika @Louis Loire - NY @Deleted User

2018-01-13 15:00:18 UTC

Weird. The flavored stuff will work. Just go with the cherry flavor instead of the peppermint flavor I sometimes see.

2018-01-13 16:35:46 UTC

Alright cool thanks

2018-01-13 20:46:38 UTC

Definitely cherry, peppermint's harshness(depending on the brand) may cause added irritation to the nose and eyes.

2018-01-13 20:46:55 UTC

Weird you couldn't find unflavored though.
