Plus their musical adverts being a crime against humanity. It just started playing in my head writing this...
I like to think about it as them giving me a g for a car that didn't run.
Live and learn 😉 it's good you got a g out of it
At least in the commercials, they're hiding what they do with the money.
It's hard to argue with "donate your car to help kids in need"
I probably could have gotten the same price had I taken it to an auction house event.
Not that I know anything about auctioning a car. I only say this because that's where the G comes from, you get a rebate for the price the car is auctioned off at. So maybe you can bypass Kars4Kids.
And donate elsewhere
@DeusVolk How's that tranny fluid change working out?
Well, nothing has gotten worse yet. Still needs to warm up a bit before it shifts smoothly.
If it was to get worse, you would probably know by now.
Not a bad sign...
I’ll be putting 80 miles on it tomorrow, hopefully that cleans it up more.
New place is 4 miles from my work and school so haven’t done much driving I guess.
Nice.
Bicycle gentiles: https://m.pinkbike.com/news/authorities-seek-suspected-bike-shop-scammer-in-california.html a friend sent me this.
tfw the Landcruiser 70 will never be released in America
#arabspringtruck
They still make them in Portugal and Japan for MENA and the pacific islands/aus respectively.
They're somewhat modernized now and beautiful...
Could be fun. My roommate does junk car races in the winter.
@Sonic been watching alot of videos lately - how's that Tracker offroad?
Been looking into one.
It's great man, there's really not much I can't get through in it. Fully stock with aggressive tires. It's light with a short wheel base, no bottoming out or getting high centered. Obviously, major rock crawling would cause a few issues with it being stock, but my co worker has a 2" lift with larger wheels/tires and he takes his '96 crawling all the time.
I've been off-roading a couple times with him, and never ran into any issues. She's a little beast. And, relatively easy to work on too. @Papa Pizzagate Coworker usually airs down his tires when we go into the mountains, but I don't touch mine. I've even done some creek crossings in it (about 2' deep) fully stock. The off-road world loves Trackers.
Yeah, that's what I thought. I would look into a moderate lift and better wheels/tires
Even though they are nearly identical cars, I like the look of the Suzuki Sidekick better and would prefer to buy one of them
They're almost identical. All the parts in the tracker are Suzuki parts. In fact, they even share the same Chilton/Haynes manual.
Yeah, I am aware. Just like most of the lines/paint jobs on the zooks a bit more
Recently when I take a sharp turn in my car, like around a traffic circle my engine starts sounding harsh, and I can replicate it at will. My thought is that it's time for new oil, but I'm not certain.
Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?
@Ecarttev year, make, model?
Does it sound like the engine or could it be something else from the front end?
Do you notice loss of power, or is it just a noise?
How would you describe the noise. The more details, the better :^)
2011 Hyundai Elantra
Hmm, no loss of power, and I'm certain it's the engine. It sounds kinda like it does when starting on a cold day
If you haven't changed your oil + filter in some time, I would go for it and see if it changes things - you mention that it might be about time
should be a regular maintenance item for you anyhow
