Slather on, let it sit for a few minutes while you clean out your brush. Then wipe with a paper towel.
How often do you go to work and open a window and find the news paper?

Thats pretty cool.
I ran into some neat stuff today. Like this sweet radiator.
This is the house
Fancy
I'm doing the windows and art glass.
That turret goes all the to the cellar.
Huge old boiler too
High ceilings in the cellar
Still has coal in the basement to feed that boiler
Not right now, it's being restored to the original lay out. It was cut up into apartments sometime in the 70s.
@RevStench ky ie chapter house? We need that place.
Haha I wish. It's a beautiful place, has a private parking lot, a wall haha. 4 stories and a massive cellar that doesn't get wet. Hahaha it would be perfect.
I love these little windows. 9in Knock off Klein's haha for size.
Anyone here know anything about repairing roof leaks? It's raining hard where I live and rain is leaking through roof by the chimney.
It's the flashing. When it drys out get up there with some metal sealant and some matching color trim screws and nail it in the mortar. Use a lot of sealant, smear it around.
It could be the flashing, you'll have to look at it. But if it's coming in at the chimney it's most likely the flashing.
@Rick if you get up there get some pics if you have any questions.
I sent you a response in the general channel, but I missed the part about the chimney. The sealant should still work though and then like rev said you should take a look at the metal flashing. @Rick
They didn’t post in order 😓
“How I took apart a coat hanger”
Gotta work with your hands sometimes. Great job
Here's some custom casement windows I made. They still need to be cleaned.
We're also restoring a 1972 Airstream camper.
Here's a little shelf for the bathroom.
Ooh that looks nice. What kind of finish do you like to use? I’ve been using a matte polyurethane. I plan to make two matching nightstands sometime soon as well as a chest that sits at the end of the bed. I want to give them a glossy finish, so I won’t be using the poly (don’t like the way glossy poly looks). Any suggestions?
I used Helmsman water based poly on that, it's not real glossy but you can see it.
Usually I use high gloss poly because it protects better. And people like that high gloss look.
