@Deleted User I see where you're going with that, but what if the neighbors are terrible. Won't that devalue the property?

2018-03-19 22:07:10 UTC

Also it should be somewhere that will last at least 10-15 years.

2018-03-19 22:35:10 UTC

You're the landlord so they'll be nice. You get to vet them.

2018-03-19 22:36:03 UTC

FHA requires one year occupancy. Set a 3-year plan of living rent-free, improve the worst unit up to a point or someone will rent it for the going rate, then move out and buy your house.

2018-03-19 22:37:35 UTC

And by landlord I mean you own all of the units and you just live in one of them.

2018-03-19 22:39:48 UTC

It's a good idea, let me think about it for a bit.

2018-03-19 22:41:27 UTC

Any questions feel free.

2018-03-19 22:43:49 UTC

Tons of questions. Currently flipping through options in the area.

2018-03-21 11:37:35 UTC

Well, what did you find?

2018-04-15 21:30:37 UTC

@SamanthaM any interesting follow-up?

2018-04-20 00:35:49 UTC

Yes and no. Thinking about a nice fixer-upper near my parents house.

However, some life events are in flux so its looking more difficult to commit to a particular area.

2018-04-21 03:03:08 UTC

Are Redwings as good as some say they are?

2018-04-21 03:04:05 UTC

Yes

2018-04-21 03:05:27 UTC

If you like walking on clouds and a lifetime of quality

2018-04-21 03:19:26 UTC

I am more impressed with my new pair of wolverines than I am any other steel toe work boot I've had in recent years. [including redwings]

2018-04-22 23:12:57 UTC

My pair of redwings have zero cushioning. I only bought them because I needed steel toe boots for work asap. I replaced the insoles with the fattest ones they had to make it better. I

2018-04-23 10:10:16 UTC

Danner! Mine are like walking on clouds

2018-04-23 10:10:31 UTC

😉

2018-04-23 10:19:30 UTC

Our ancestors didn’t need inserts in their work boots. 🤨

2018-04-23 10:25:54 UTC

Our ancestors also died with hips that didn't work

2018-04-23 10:28:29 UTC

Utilize modern conveniences, guys. We weren't meant to walk on hard surfaces all day, so if you want to have all your original joints at 60, take care of them

2018-04-23 11:03:24 UTC

>not walking into a Burger King bathroom barefoot

2018-04-23 11:25:02 UTC

Don’t work on hard surfaces all day...

2018-04-23 13:38:28 UTC

Easier said than done, my man

2018-04-23 14:19:40 UTC

☝🏻

2018-04-23 15:25:30 UTC

We're not all neets and some of us work jobs that keep our country going.

2018-04-23 15:38:32 UTC

Oosh

2018-04-23 18:39:13 UTC

Keep our country going...like what? The military? Because if that’s so then I’m right there with you bro.

2018-04-23 19:37:14 UTC

No, he means blue collar work

2018-04-23 20:20:57 UTC

Yes john is right.

Had this umbrella for about 7 years. Buying another because I misplaced it. Never blew inside-out from wind, it’s sturdy, and it’s SPF rated to block sun.

I have a couple. Haven’t had an issue yet. I take it during day hikes and even on my week long trip in Utah. I recommend them. Another is sawyer squeeze for water bottle filtering.

Have a couple myself in emergency stash
