I didn't know Dell was a jew

2018-01-19 21:22:10 UTC

At least they hire Americans. Lenovo is closer to 100% chinese.

2018-01-19 21:22:49 UTC

HP is American too, but they're not as Linux friendly, to my understanding.

Real goys build their PC

Here's a great lube I use pretty much everyday. Stuff is pretty amazing

I use it to lube up wood on wood friction.

Swing-A-Way can opener. Had it for 20+ years and it always penetrates the can, never slips off, easy and consistent to turn, best one ever.

Any advice on home buying? Looking at foreclosured homes in my area.

2018-03-19 21:16:29 UTC

Thats the start

2018-03-19 21:16:38 UTC

Always buy with equity in it

2018-03-19 21:16:44 UTC

Ie under market value.

2018-03-19 21:17:27 UTC

Then check the comparisons in the neighbor hood so you kno how much $$ you can put in it w/out losing

2018-03-19 21:19:42 UTC

There's an auction listing for 11k. It's been on the market for about 700 days with houses in the area listed for 157k.

2018-03-19 21:28:50 UTC

Hey if post pics of the house I can eye ball it for you, and if I see problems visually, I can explain what I'm looking at and why.

2018-03-19 21:30:37 UTC

Thanks so much! There's a couple listings I'm considering. Would you mind if I DM you the links in a bit?

2018-03-19 21:30:56 UTC

Yeah that's cool.

2018-03-19 21:37:34 UTC

@SamanthaM it's entirely possible that a place like that has something critically wrong with it that the professionals see, but you don't

2018-03-19 21:38:09 UTC

700 days is a long time for a house that underpriced to sit

2018-03-19 21:38:19 UTC

Aye

2018-03-19 21:38:48 UTC

Foundation, termite damage, mold, structural.

2018-03-19 21:41:13 UTC

All good points. Definitely looking for second/third opinions on this. I have a current max budget of 30k and about a year or so to make a decision. Thank you. Very appreciative of any help.

2018-03-19 21:41:49 UTC

Tiny house

2018-03-19 21:42:45 UTC

@RevStench now's our chance

2018-03-19 21:43:05 UTC

Hahah I was going to say the same thing

2018-03-19 21:43:26 UTC

I like where your mind is

2018-03-19 21:43:29 UTC

😂

2018-03-19 21:43:55 UTC

Pack your tools, bro, we're going to Pennsylvania

2018-03-19 21:44:53 UTC

@SamanthaM just jokes, btw

2018-03-19 21:45:30 UTC

Wouldn't mind at all. Need all the help I can get.

2018-03-19 21:50:18 UTC

@SamanthaM buy a duplex or a Triplex. Live in the worst unit, and fix it up as you go. You will live rent-free for as long as you live there. Any multi-unit should leave at least one unit as cash flow. Does that make sense?

2018-03-19 22:01:21 UTC

@Deleted User I see where you're going with that, but what if the neighbors are terrible. Won't that devalue the property?

2018-03-19 22:07:10 UTC

Also it should be somewhere that will last at least 10-15 years.

2018-03-19 22:35:10 UTC

You're the landlord so they'll be nice. You get to vet them.

2018-03-19 22:36:03 UTC

FHA requires one year occupancy. Set a 3-year plan of living rent-free, improve the worst unit up to a point or someone will rent it for the going rate, then move out and buy your house.

2018-03-19 22:37:35 UTC

And by landlord I mean you own all of the units and you just live in one of them.

2018-03-19 22:39:48 UTC

It's a good idea, let me think about it for a bit.

2018-03-19 22:41:27 UTC

Any questions feel free.
