@Evan Thomas He mentions "The great Tony Robbins". I would be skeptical of anything said by someone who holds him in that high regard.
Tony Robbins isn't my favorite, but he's still got a tremendous following that find his information useful. I doubt I'd go to one of his events and I haven't read any of his books. I do know a little bit about his place in the self-improvement industry and think a lot of his gimmicky walking on fire stuff is great for short term inspiration and thought expansion, but that's about it. He's basically a brilliant marketer, but so far as I know, he doesn't teach how to build a great business.
https://youtu.be/Z-dqOi_z5bk Should've been a machinist. This shit is so implicit
@Deleted User What does this mean?
@JudenFrei#6240 just that he hired out of state lawyers to represent him
Thanks @Deleted User
When is that allowed?
When the judge allows it. Pro hac vice - for this occasion
@JudenFrei#6240 it’s usually not a problem as long as an in-state lawyer vouches that he’ll make sure you behave yourself
Ok. Thx
What’s up
Why is there no welding channel?
@ParadoxusX I would post in the Machining channel, anybody who can run a mill, lathe, cnc likely can weld also. I do MIG welding if you need any help.
@Brandon Ironside- ND that’s cool, I was wondering if you would needed a welding sme?
@ParadoxusX You can message @Deleted User and see if he needs extra help, he runs this server.
Thanks
@ParadoxusX we can change <#338633794896527360> to metalworking if you’re willing to pitch in
I work in manufacturing 👋🏻
Absolutely. I have experience in assembly, fabrication and welding.
@Deleted User I’ll help any way I can.
I need to come to this server more often, so much practical stuff to work on
Why is plumbing not on here
We don't have any plumbers. Everybody knows a little plumbing work.
"Your shit is my bread and butter."
@⚡Clark⚡ you can use that for your company.😂
I’m studying for my state plumbing license now. It’s seriously boring as hell and I hope I never get a chance to use it.
Plumbing is good honest work. Single plumbers in NYC are knocking back $200k a year.
Yea I work with and am friends with them, it’s just not my thing.
Right on. Well try another trade, I've worked in all the trades. Found I like carpentry the best.
I’m a pipe welder
I’m doing the pipe fitter apprenticeship so when I get old and blind I’ll know how to fit.
Haha I feel you there. You should try to get a job in an auto plant, if there's one close. Maintenance in a plant like that is sweet as.
I would love a nice maintenance job
Me too. I love what I do, but the benefits would be nice. And the slower pace would be great.
Are you up north?
No, I'm in Kentucky
I was thinking about electrical maintenance when I get old at a Ford plant or something
Move to the Midwest or Middle South and just kick back
@John O - right. My dad was the maintenance superintendent of Ford Louisville Automotive Plant. He retired 2 years ago and is getting ready to go back in a couple of weeks making ridiculous money.
My cousin is a machinist and started at Ford Kentucky Truck Plant making really good money, he's 34 and set for life.
My older brother started a few years ago just working the line and he has 4 kids and a stay at home wife.
The automotive industry is good shit. If you want to move to KY I can get you a referral 😂
