There’s several paintings of St. Michael the archangel. Those always look pretty badass. Or Gabriel. There’s a couple depictions of Gabriel holding back Abraham’s hand from Isaac.

The Imperial flag was always black white and yellow and I don't know the meaning of those colours, but the Republican flag is based on the coat of arms of the Duchy of Moscow
