2018-03-02 07:41:42 UTC

How based is Pat Buchanan?

2018-03-02 07:42:35 UTC

“Cultural power in America long ago passed to an anti-Christian elite that rules academy, Hollywood, and the arts”

2018-03-02 07:42:50 UTC

-Suicide of a Superpower, pg. 49

2018-03-02 07:55:47 UTC

Pat Buchanan is the father of Paleoconservatism

America's leading Immigration Economist explores the effects and costs of Immigration has had on American Society. Using empirical data, the author debunks the supposed benefits of mass, liberalized immigration policy. The entire book is a refreshing and informative take on Immigration from what you would otherwise hear from the msm.

It's real reading hours lads who up

@Solipsistic Vinarchy 48 Laws was interesting but seemed to be impractical for anyone not in politics or climbing the corporate ladder in a highly competitive field, etc. Win Friends and Influence People from what I remember was pretty basic stuff from what I remember. It's been years since I read it but it was stuff like give people genuine compliments and smile at them.

2018-03-13 05:24:58 UTC

Yeah

2018-03-13 05:25:02 UTC

I dont mind a basic overview

2018-03-13 05:25:31 UTC

Thats what Im getting from Win Friends and Influence People so far

2018-03-13 05:25:40 UTC

and appreciate the historical examples of how to apply them

2018-03-13 05:27:14 UTC

Watchu reading?

2018-03-13 05:41:03 UTC

Been trying to get through Philosophy: A Quest For Truth by Louis Pojman (a textbook). I've read and enjoyed a lot of Plato but when I tried to branch out further into other texts like Decartes and John Locke I really struggled to understand what was being said and why so I'm trying to get a better grounding in what philosophy really is all about before I try to go further.

2018-03-13 05:41:38 UTC

That and Sorrows of Young Werther, only about 60 pages in but I like it so far

2018-03-13 05:53:18 UTC

Btw I would highly recommend one of Greene's other books, Mastery.

2018-03-13 06:19:52 UTC

Ive heard its really good, his best is what I hear from many

2018-03-13 06:27:53 UTC

Have you read anything from Pat Buchanan?

2018-03-13 14:18:29 UTC

No, hopefully someday soon but my book list seems to be growing by the day. What would you recommend?

2018-03-13 15:30:20 UTC

Fellas

2018-03-13 15:30:30 UTC

Good books on political science?

2018-03-13 16:17:51 UTC

Unfortunately not a subject I've gotten to yet but Plato's Republic has some interesting parts on systems of govt. Are you interested in any particular sphere of poli sci?

2018-03-13 16:19:45 UTC

Check out Nick's book list if you haven't already, haven't started any but just picked up Krauthammer's Things That Matter and Caro's The Path to Power

2018-03-13 18:30:47 UTC

I'd just like an intro, I don't know shit. I couldn't even tell you what I'm interested in. I'll check those out.

2018-03-13 18:49:01 UTC
