Honestly getting involved in a rally theoretically should be benevolent, However the cards were stacked against you. The city wasn't good to grant a permit, and the media intentionally demonizes the right. So raising awareness and support is fruitless. Real change comes from real work not a circle jerk of empty ideas. If you want to solve problems... support and marching solves nothing. Getting out on the streets seems like a noble cause but it's just as pointless as the opposition. So if you want to preserve history... get on the board and get votes. Influence people, speak about what matters, show the importance of family values, lead by example, be benevolent and patient, have civil discourse, start at home and statewide

I do not think it is pointless to go out and protect people who agree with you on the values that match up to our organizations. Listen, the media will sway everything anyway they want, they'll shut down your online content too. literally, there's always a "what if" from the left to silence the right.

It wasn't really a protest of our side, we had a permit, then it got taken away, then we got it back, adn got into a trap by city gov and officials, the city isn't getting away with it, they're looking into a lot right now and a lot of lawsuits are underway against the city for not protecting people who had a permit and for standing down in the face of pure violence.

So walk away and make real change. Get on the board. Support freedom of speech, infiltrate
