Most "A"thiests that use the term as an indentity, like the youtubers and shit, they tend toward self aggrandizement and pretend that they have come upon some profound truth, they are too stupid to actually understand what is coming out of thier own mouths. The truth is that athiesm is the exact opposite, it's the lack of religious identity, not a substitute.
