Also, didn't they have contact with mesopotamia at the time?

MK went to bed, he has school tommorow.

what i'm wondering is why paganism? forget the whole "muh ancestors" meme and the Viking LARPing, set that aside. what is intrinsically valuable about any Paganistic religions?

2017-10-27 02:52:59 UTC

sorry, didn't read your messages

2017-10-27 02:53:31 UTC

thats fine, if you @ him tommorow evening he should be good to carry it on.

2017-10-27 02:54:09 UTC

my point is, >straight hair > big beard >straight nose >not aryan

2017-10-27 02:54:23 UTC

@Belisarius mmh, some of Nietzsche's take on it can be a bit of an argument in favour of paganism
there's the whole ancestral wisdom thang
uh, there's some areas in which it is mutually reinforcing with nationalist sentiment...#

2017-10-27 02:54:46 UTC

but, mostly, it's people who say no to christianity and just switch to paganism to default

2017-10-27 02:55:42 UTC

it's easier for a Norwegian to go "Eh, I'm not going Christian, so I'll identify with the old Norwegian faith" than to go "Eh, I'm not going Christian, so I'll become a Zoroastrian"

2017-10-27 02:55:59 UTC

Also, I saw a study the other day showing earlier evidence of Ind-European invasion

2017-10-27 02:56:09 UTC

but muh slitty eyes

2017-10-27 02:56:14 UTC

clearly 100% mongoloid

2017-10-27 03:01:40 UTC

>didn't realize this was sarcasm

2017-10-27 03:02:32 UTC

but why is paganism better or more valuable than christianity?

2017-10-27 03:04:21 UTC

As I said, it's not so much that it has a pull of its own other than what I mentioned, it's just a default fallback for those who don't want to into Christianity, which may be for a whole load of different reasons.

oy vey

2017-10-27 03:08:54 UTC

shut it down

2017-10-27 03:09:01 UTC

@Orlunu and thats understandable, I just don't see the need for pagans/atheists to be overwhelmingly hostile to christians and/or their beliefs, especially if neither can defend their own positions.

2017-10-27 03:09:30 UTC

yeah

2017-10-27 03:09:43 UTC

I assume it's a defensiveness thing

2017-10-27 03:09:52 UTC

it is deeply unhelpful, whatever the reason

2017-10-27 03:17:14 UTC

if you want to worship a deity that you know doesn't exist and retell folk tales i don't have a problem with that at all. Just don't be a faggot circlejerking about how christianity is "cucked" and how it "destroyed europe" and all whites need to become pagan. It's especially unhelpful seeing as how i mentioned before, there are a lot of "armchair theologians" who have no clue about christianity and have never read the bible who make ridiculous claims about what it teaches or even worse, the "jesus was a jew" meme that seems to be the only "argument" most can fall back on. I do not try to preach paganism to pagans as they (hopefully) know it better than i do, i expect the same courtesy to not preach to me about my own religion in turn.

2017-10-27 08:19:43 UTC

I've considered going to church just as an opportunity to dress nicely once a week and to meet other conservative whites, but I am not religious at all

2017-10-27 08:20:13 UTC

No idea what denomination id go to

2017-10-27 09:06:01 UTC

if only there was a crusader denomination of christianity

2017-10-27 10:37:43 UTC

Catholicism was the only group that took a major part in crusades that I know of and some crusader orders still exist and are fighting.

2017-10-27 10:41:11 UTC

Why would someone default on Paganism? "Well I indentify with it" How is this an argument? What does that even mean? "I feel warm an fuzzy inside when I think about it." This is a level of Pre-Shapiro fucking cucking that shouldn't even exist in the Alt-Right. "Feeling are more important than facts." "I have absoutely no evidence for my belief but it is what everyone should believe because muh ancestors. Then drink semen and worship trees like your ancestors. You have a much easier time logically convincing people that the clay object you made up 10 minutes ago, loosely based off muh ancestor religious object, is something to be taken seriously than muh Wotan.
