Wow man

2017-10-16 10:38:20 UTC

could you maybe consult my lil brother?

2017-10-16 10:38:33 UTC

do what you love, and be great at it, if you're good enough at it, people will pay you shitloads of money for it

2017-10-16 10:38:36 UTC

regardless of what it is

2017-10-16 10:38:42 UTC

whats' your brother do?

2017-10-16 10:40:28 UTC

well... my brother had a 3 year period of intensively training as an artist.

2017-10-16 10:40:43 UTC

He made very nice pictures with coal and graphit

2017-10-16 10:40:54 UTC

then from one day to the next he just stopped

2017-10-16 10:41:01 UTC

and he went into psychology

2017-10-16 10:41:13 UTC

he had a real talent for art

2017-10-16 10:41:21 UTC

he has no talent at all whatsoever for psychology

2017-10-16 10:42:20 UTC

he probably had a reason for it

2017-10-16 10:42:44 UTC

it's a common thing where people who're good at it get discouraged by people telling them that art doesnt make money

2017-10-16 10:43:02 UTC

my dad did the same, and he's an artist himself and was like 'dont make the mistake i made' lmao

2017-10-16 10:43:08 UTC

and now i make waaay more money than he does

2017-10-16 10:43:16 UTC

good for you!

2017-10-16 10:43:25 UTC

is it too late to start doing art at 25?

2017-10-16 10:43:33 UTC

never is

2017-10-16 10:43:48 UTC

I wouldn't want to make money with it, just for my own entertainment

2017-10-16 10:43:55 UTC

most 'famous' people never started doing their thing until they were like 30 or 40 or something

2017-10-16 10:44:09 UTC

and how fast you improve is 100% in your own hands

2017-10-16 10:44:15 UTC

there's infinite resources online

2017-10-16 10:44:21 UTC

just need the discipline for it

2017-10-16 10:44:27 UTC

if you have no discinpline, don't do art

2017-10-16 10:44:43 UTC

you should be working on crafting discipline first lol

2017-10-16 10:45:31 UTC

I actually am inbterested in wood-carving

2017-10-16 10:45:45 UTC

drawing and painting? I'M not good there

2017-10-16 10:45:50 UTC

and I have no singing voice 😃

2017-10-16 10:46:03 UTC

doesnt matter what you're good at

2017-10-16 10:46:06 UTC

you can GET good at anything

2017-10-16 10:46:43 UTC

I love the attitude :))

2017-10-18 12:50:31 UTC

I was thinking of doing a course in Beekeeping

2017-10-18 13:29:38 UTC
2017-10-18 13:29:49 UTC

@English N Angry you're going to love this

2017-10-18 13:30:48 UTC

Imagine how much honey you can produce with a few dozen of these. No smoke, no suits, no dead bees, no rotting wood.

2017-10-18 13:46:33 UTC

Yeh i seen it

2017-10-18 13:46:43 UTC

Honey is expensive as well

2017-10-18 14:18:29 UTC

It's a potential income source for the community, and the pollination would assist other crops. Once I get up there I imagine setting up at least a few of these low maintenance little money hives

2017-10-18 14:19:47 UTC

I bee the Beekeeper of cascade

2017-10-18 14:21:32 UTC

Hahaha

There are two spiritual dangers of not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace.

To avoid the first danger, one should plant a garden, preferably where there is no grocer to confuse the issue.

To avoid the second, he should lay a split of good oak on the andirons, preferably where there is no furnace, and let it warm his shins while a February blizzard tosses the trees outside.
