It's a set bought with a really nice, but old, leather bound britanica encyclopedia. The encyclopedia is long gotten rid of due to obsolescence. They were several thousand dollars all together. Was probably 2 decades ago now.

Gotta say, I recently started taking cold showers, and I think I'm additcted (not literally). It feels fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone.

I prefer starting my showers cold and finishing with warmth π€·π» I don't get as clean in the cold
I find warm showers at first helps get the oil and dirt out, opens the pores, and then cold shower closes em up again, so warm while washing and a cold finish is π

the most primitive way of doing it
is not that hard
grind up wheat seeds + mix with water
and you have dough
however various things like baking powder are good to help make the dough rise
sugar + salt and possibly other toppings are good as well
how does the taste compare?

Weβre baking it at home too, but we have a machine to do it for us.
I just use breadpans and an oven.
What's really interesting about bread is that your regional bacterium can change it's texture and flavor significantly. San Francisco sourdough is a good example.
