2017-10-08 00:33:41 UTC

likely some form of protestanism, but I dont really know enough about all the denominations

2017-10-08 00:34:30 UTC

@Orchid I've recently looked into taking up paganism, as in odinism

2017-10-08 00:34:36 UTC

i skipped the first 10 min cause it's a bunch of editing bvut you can watch a bit to know what he's talking about

2017-10-08 00:34:37 UTC

But Christianity is great too

2017-10-08 00:35:23 UTC
2017-10-08 00:35:24 UTC

Just try going to church ever now and then and read he bible, and assess if any of the Christian proposals can apply to your personal struggles

2017-10-08 00:36:13 UTC

paganism sounds cool, but it seems to be mostly larping, christianity actually gets people to go to church

2017-10-08 00:36:51 UTC

The christian religion is false anyways, it should have never been formed into a religion, religion including (((Christianity))) was created by men pay attention only to the teaching

2017-10-08 00:38:51 UTC

I'm actually sacrificing a dead bird, handful of bird feathers, and plenty of fruits and veggies on monday

2017-10-08 00:38:56 UTC

For Leif Erickson day

2017-10-08 00:39:07 UTC

2017-10-08 00:39:15 UTC

ARCODEAUS on YouTube is also a goodguy

2017-10-08 00:39:44 UTC

Idk paganism might just be larping, I might just go with Christianity

2017-10-08 00:40:54 UTC

Last night I had a dream where after battling orc people on a peach, I found a decapitated body. The head was on a stake nearby, long hair and a beard. I put the head on the body and there was a bright light and Jesus Christ was floating above me. He ascended in the air and in the dream I was overcome with a huge wave a happiness that made me cry. It was weird

2017-10-08 00:41:03 UTC

beach not peach

2017-10-08 00:41:51 UTC

Can anyone tell me what the black sun symbol means?

2017-10-08 00:46:19 UTC

2017-10-08 00:54:37 UTC

good night

2017-10-08 10:18:01 UTC

I don't have any advice to give on how to become religious. I come from a Christian family and my parents were Bible Students who know the Bible very well and are pretty religious, but in a personal way - they don't want to impose their beliefs on others. And I've been disillusioned from the holy text, and I'm no longer a believer. I would really like to become a Christian again, but I can't do it without lying to myself and, consequently, to God. The biggest part that destroyed my religion was studying how the Bible came to compile its holy texts, and how most of it was politically driven, instead of being driven by the word of God. It just made me doubt every word in the Bible.

2017-10-08 10:18:19 UTC

But if you ever find out how to become religious, let me know.

2017-10-08 14:06:00 UTC

I think the hardest part about religion is finding a good church to go to

2017-10-08 14:06:48 UTC

There's a lot of strange churches i've been to that are more "new age", where the stage and speaker looks more like apple releasing some new phone than an alter with a priest

2017-10-08 14:09:26 UTC

but optics don't really matter as much as the message they give. A lot of the time though the altruism that the church teaches has lead to people who want to selfishly take for themselves being enabled

2017-10-08 19:47:07 UTC

Finding a good church is definitely very difficult, especially in the more liberal parts of America and Europe

2017-10-08 19:47:30 UTC

near me all the Protestant and most Catholic churches fly those rainbow banners

2017-10-08 19:48:45 UTC

The problem with that, even if you don't resent homosexuals, is the absolute betrayal of the actual faith by being so openly 'accepting' of it. It's described as a sin in the Bible, and while we are taught to help sinners, it's abhorrent to encourage and say there is nothing wrong with a certain sin

2017-10-08 19:50:50 UTC

I guess thats what happens when so many christians dont take their own beliefs seriously

2017-10-08 19:51:17 UTC

there is only noe god, and hitler is his prophet :^)
