How much harsher are we talking about?
Also something that I should have mentioned, you don't HAVE to be a prepper to be a part of this group, just share ideals
That's a real good price
hard to say, havent lived there
Same
take a look at the climate table
and comapre to another location
Im gonna do more reading about this stuff in the future
Alright thanks
hm..
comapre to this
None of that nice NW rain 😦
dry summers freezing winters
but i know that there are plenty of homsteaders in that part of the country, and they are doing fine. Theyre far more skilled though
Ah.. Well that's good, we would just have to look into what crops they rely on.
So! How'd everything go? Any important things I missed?
dont think so, we just answered a few questions
Alright! ^^
How was the talk
What is nrw

Hey.
We learned that Orchid is transracial.
And a cyborg.
We finally answered the question "are traps gay".
Dang it
Seriously though, we had a talk about our future goals as a group mainly with a focus on bonding activities over on the maine server. we also found out what a few members of the group wanted to get out of the project. It was basically 9 guys shitposting with the occasinal break to talk about the PNW.
Sweet. So how is housing going to work?
Communes.
20 to a toilet.
a few of us wanna move out and build temporary log cabins. these will be built when we first move out. We're shooting for april of next year to let us build "houses" and try to get some form of food growing.
Sweet
Something I tried to say but might have worded poorly is that there could be a variety of different ways people might want to approach their living arrangments, there is no one correct way to do it, and you will have to decide how you want to do it and see it through. The primary objective of the group is to gather members and pick a location, if you want to do something beyond the scope of that objective it's up to you to make it happen.
Btw log cabins sound hard as fuck
This is a good point considering some of us are bring our women and children
@Orchid it'll be a lot of manual labor but i think we could all build one together
like a sort of longhouse
Would it be beneficial to set up a guild system like the Maine Colony is doing? That way individuals can be responsible for regularly provide information and improve their own skills in their appointed specialty?
