yeah of course only the people who have to know and then they would keep tabs on them if they recidivized then the real punishments start

something small like theft, they'd need to punished, however, we don't want to ostracize the perp from the entire community

and also most crime is committed by teenage men...and those same people if focused for good could really be good workers

if you raise a kid for 18 years and he steals something worth lets say 100 bucks ...very serious crime but you dont throw the baby out with the bath water

It is doubtful that we will really have to worry about crime, but I think giving the criminal some degree of anonymity wouldn't be too harmful. It would give those participating in the public trial chance to speak without bias toward said criminal. I feel in the case with most crimes that might result in some sort of prison term, we could just resort to exile.

exile might not work since its a voluntary association anyway and you kick out someones kid they would probably leave and at best just resent you for splitting the family

and why do you need public trials...public trials should only exist for policy disagreements with the governing body. you dont really need a jury to find someone guilty .either you have enough evidence or you dont of the crime...anything else turns the judicial system into its own economy like we have now and leads people away from actual production

im no law scholar but it always seemed to me a lot of the criminal system was created to protect against tyranny...if there is no threat of tyranny you dont need a lot of protections for suspected criminals
