I know when I hear certain songs, certain events and feelings come back because I associate certain scenarios in my head to certain songs. For example, I always think of a medieval battle when I hear certain songs from Two Steps From Hell. I listen to a lot of electronic and it is mostly without lyrics so same applies to it.

Yep I really consider a lot of electronic music as 'modern day classical'
