@Mella Forta It is where the doctor puts needles into the nerves coming out of the spine and use injectable meds or electric signals to target specific nerves. In my case they are testing to see if injections will work.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. Keep me in yours as much as you can remember. Because of the crackdown on opioids the doctor wants to implant a battery and electrodes in my back. I am hoping for relief before it gets to that. <:jesus:417536063540559872>

@Jacsac ask your Dr. about Kratom. It may be illegal in your state (my state banned it :real fast: ) but it is supposed to be a naturally derived alternative to opioids.

I mean opium is "natural" but we dont want our nickers on it

Kratom isn't nearly as potent as opium but there is serious long term addiction potential

Stay away from kratom, just take what is perscribed to you, maybe get a pill cutter and take half of the recommemded if the pain isnt to much.

Kratom wont give you proper pain relief if you are getting a pain map you will end up spending more money on kratom then your perscription plus anyone shilling kratom is likely a chinese sleeper

I am taking halves already. The doctor had to reset needle entry multiple times after hitting hardware and bone grafts so yesterday was a real ass kicker. Thanks @Beemen

Iv just moved to a new area and the only Catholic church around heres preacher is an Indian and the Deacon is Mexican. Half the services are also is spanish

Well your primary concern should be how orthodox the services are. Preferably you should try to find a TLM in your area, which can be searched for here: http://www.traditio.com/tradlib/masslat.pdf (just ignore the recommended vs not recommended indicators if you are not highly familiar with the differences between the various traditional groups).

If there is no TLM nearby then try to find a Mass with the most traditional liturgy.

Guys I'm going to give my first confession Saturday (being confirmed on the 31st) and I'm wondering exactly how i should confess? Given my whole life, etc it seems kind of difficult. I thought about making generalizations for a lot of it, but I'm not sure. Would appreciate some advice 🙏

Do an examination of conscience, also don't be afraid to ask the priest for guidance

The Douay-Rheims is the ideal, but yes this is the best edition if you want a more modern translation that is easier to read
