He may of had a case for a moral reformation but his assault against church doctrine and his rejection of the line of st Peter has a direct link to the great secular evils of modern day. Martin Luther was a heretic and the confusion he brought upon fellow christians is the work of lucifer. Sola Scriptura has lead to the acceptance of sodomy, the implementation of western contraception, abortion and a horrendous level of schism between just protestant sects. The only good martin luther brang was the reaction to his poor teaching the Catholic counter reformation.

Your Catholic church would kill real Christians for simply having a copy of the Lord's prayer in English. It was never about truth, it was about control. Christ teaches us that if we want to be great to become the servant of all, the Catholic church did the exact opposite and elevated a priestly class above the common people and hid God's Word from them. It shoved a false gospel of works down their throats and robbed them of the peace of their salvations. One of the most vile and debauch insitutions man has ever created. The devils sold indulgences to poor and naive peasants promising them salvation if they only make the coffers of the church a little fatter. They didn't even stop there, theu then taught that you needed to buy indulgences to get your dead loved ones out of purgatory. A literal fraud being conducted by the representatives of Christ on earth. Sick.

If you have saving faith, your heart is transformed and you have works, but works cannot save someone. Faith alone saves. This is why the just live by faith (Romans 1:17)

Teaching to forgive isn't justification for confession. There's actually a passage in 1 John that literally says if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us, but even that isn't saying to confess to a man who is elevated to an authority.
