My parish is strange because while I think at least the main priest isn't like a super by the book catholic (maybe there are homo priests around too since they are half the population....) but in the bulletin there's a nice respect life portion which I think is written by a committee that meets sometime during the week at the church. And it's based. Just today it brought up the wedding cake case, google and zuckberg changing results and messing with conservatives etc. Talked about the Irish vote the week before and today the priest added to the prayer something about society seemingly falling a part. Regardless I kinda think there's some good fellas strongarming a based message to be in the background of the church which is funny it has to be that way
