The leftists have lawyers on call to help them out. We don't have the same organization, but we at least need to find a guy in the Bay Area who'd be willing to represent our guys.

Anyway, my advice is don't show hostility to police and they're much less likely to see you as a threat. At the very least try to have some dialogue.
