I stopped caring about Europe, tbh. Not that I don't *care*, but that I'll worry about them when they finally stand up for themselves. Otherwise, it's just torture.

Yeah, concentrate on ourselves for now and worry about them when we are secure.

People are a product of their environment, nothing more. They go along with whatever they perceive to be the dominant mindset; societal pressures are a really, really powerful thing. Whoever controls the media, controls the people- and we all know who has control at the moment, so it's no surprise that it's taking so much to wake Europe up.

We can do little but sit back and watch the sh*tshow.
