I looked into this last year. There is some European reviewer on YT who believes there is a noticeable difference in the drivers between the two models. That's what led me to get the Pro version. We had a similar discussion about the pads being the only difference last year. I sure hope I didn't get duped.

@Praveen Kadambari They sound different I have both and have taken them apart for modification and they have different drivers. Pro 50 has Japanese driver. Pro 50 sounds better.

If the only difference were earpads i would not feel duped at all, those are more expensive than the earphones from non-chink resellers.
