I already encountered one guy who put a fucking 25x scope on a Ruger Mini-14.

He thought that turned it into a sniper.

Isn't that short to medium range?

The Mini-14 isn't exactly known for accuracy

I'd say inside 300 yards, you should be able to hit a decent-sized target

I'm sure someome who knows what they're doing can push out further

But 25x is way too much scope for anything but a dedicated target rifle.

Yes and no. It'll work and it'll look good, but it's really impractical in this day and age.

You don't want to limit your capacity and speed if you don't have to.

Welp I guess I'll just stick with a modern day semi-auto

If you like the look of the M1 but want more firepower in an updated package, consider the M1A.
