@Deleted User Wasn't aware that they didn't consider themselves Greek, but yeah, it is ironic, given that modern Greece is pretty much Magna Athena.

@Deleted User well no one really had a Greek Identity at the time. They identified as Athenians, Spartans, Acadians, etc
When I find what I was referencing again I'll send it, but if anything they were Dorian (northerly migrated) and their mythos is the main thing they emphasized.
The best documentation of Roman soldiers singing on the march was during Triumphs, and they were usually used as entertainment to the crowds or veneration/comedic mocking of their commander and was more celebratory than militaristic. We know they sang occasionally, and we have a good guess of how it sounded based on their syntax etc, but yeah, the Ben hur clip is absolutely incorrect. Still a great clip though

@sigruna14 Windows updates are overly aggressive tech heresy. If you want them disabled type âservicesâ into your search bar, right click windows updates, go to properties, then the logon tab, select âthis accountâ instead of local system account, type in .\Guest for âthis accountâ and make password blank.

Many Jews were in the Old South, and had extensive experience with African-Americans. They, like Jefferson, knew full well that the races were different in attitudes and aptitudes. I did business with one Jew whose family had been in Mobile since the early 19th century. He had a drawl so thick you could spread it on a piece of toast.
Not surprising, I've read that a large number of Sephardic Jews settled in Georgia and South Carolina and more or less integrated into white southern society.
