oh I'm not talking about him at all
I meant more like stephen hawking
i wasn't even talking eugenics in the way most people think either...i just mean "picking the best mate you can" type of eugenics, and over time with proper selection, you can have the best people possible.
yea of course
my wife seemed a little freaked out by even that...and i was baffled.
like...she picked me...that is basically a type of "eugenics" since it is selective.
people immediately associate the positive sides of eugenics with the negative
just being extra selective
yeah, i was trying to get past that, but she wasn't getting past the bad
people also do this subconsciously ...
Picking an attractive, smart spouse is eugenics in action. Who could oppose that?
That's a great start but won't necessarily deal with disease. Hopefully genomic editing will help but I have doubts about its widespread practicalities.
the modern age has effectively ended human evolution
That's why you should screen all your dates with a basic genetic diseases profile
Personalized medicine and designer babies are coming whether anyone likes it or not
"Hey cutie, let me get a sample of that DNA."
Great opener.
"I need to check to see if you'll give my kids Tay-Sachs. open up!"
_may_ end badly
Best input for DNA is saliva btw
"Good night" *goes in for kiss _then immediately cotton swabs mouth_*
@missliterallywho My wife watches "Americas Got Talent" and other garbage, so...
Donating your DNA so that ZOG knows how to defeat our biology : 60-100$
Extracting your partner's saliva for thorough analysis : priceless
you got a lab for that thorough analysis?
or am I supposed to break into a biotech place and do it myself?
diy genetics
@Asatru Artist - MD Oof, tell me about it. My Wife and I will have discussions about nature vs. nurture
Dr Sean always has lab access
I know people
I have 4 different badges
you heard the man. SEND YOUR SPIT TO SEAN!
I'm kind of a big deal
@The Eternal Anglo I'm more the nature type, she's more the nurture type...
Realistically it's somewhere in between, like most things.
@The Eternal Anglo Did you have the heart to tell her that nurture is actually nature in disguise?
so do I like spit in an envelope and mail it to you or what
Get a 5mL conical vial my guy
I didn't actually think of it that way, @Sean I should use that next time. I have gave her examples of how the culture of Europeans or Africans don't change wherever they are
Way better
lol
