See, the thing is, my issue isn't so much that I don't have money, it's more that I don't want to dig into my savings, because I want to immediately be self sufficient when I'm done with college

2018-09-13 23:56:02 UTC

I reckon you just have to figure what you can handle, in terms of workload

2018-09-13 23:56:12 UTC

And you gotta have a little time to relax or you'll go nuts

2018-09-13 23:57:06 UTC

see that's the thing

2018-09-13 23:57:10 UTC

I have no idea what I can handle

2018-09-13 23:57:18 UTC

Haha

2018-09-13 23:57:30 UTC

ya lol I have way more than that in savings

2018-09-13 23:57:37 UTC

Well how many classes have you been taking?

2018-09-13 23:58:01 UTC

3

2018-09-13 23:58:03 UTC

Four or what? Were you stressing or was it super easy? I mean, if you've been totally cruising, you can probably handle the job

2018-09-13 23:58:18 UTC

Also obv depends on how many hours the job is

2018-09-13 23:58:23 UTC

I definitely wasn't totally cruising lol

2018-09-13 23:59:03 UTC

Idk man, maybe get some little part time thing and see how it goes

2018-09-13 23:59:16 UTC

School might have some stupid job too

2018-09-13 23:59:21 UTC

And they'll be flexible with hours

2018-09-13 23:59:27 UTC

Like work at the bookstore or something like that you know

2018-09-13 23:59:48 UTC

School jobs can have surprisingly high qualifications

2018-09-13 23:59:57 UTC

Really??

2018-09-14 00:00:17 UTC

I mean, there's easy ones like handing out burritos or whatever, but I think those get snagged up pretty quickly

2018-09-14 00:00:39 UTC

Also I think some students get higher priority because of something to do with their FAFSA or whatever

2018-09-14 00:01:14 UTC

Idk if you'd qualify, but you might can look into the work program. I forget exactly what it's called but where I went, they had a program where if you didn't have much money you got priority for jobs at the school

2018-09-14 00:02:06 UTC

Ah yeah that's probably what I'm thinking of

2018-09-14 00:02:56 UTC

But, back to the point about the qualifications

2018-09-14 00:03:03 UTC

I found this one office aid job

2018-09-14 00:03:12 UTC

And the qualifications themselves were pretty basic

2018-09-14 00:03:25 UTC

But they "preferred" candidates who knew Wordpress and other stuff

2018-09-14 00:03:34 UTC

What you do is find out which jobs have female managers and then flirt with them

2018-09-14 00:03:41 UTC

Boom, got a job

2018-09-14 00:03:46 UTC

lmao

2018-09-14 00:03:50 UTC

hahaha

2018-09-14 00:04:18 UTC

Isn't Wordpress just a blog or something

2018-09-14 00:04:48 UTC

no

2018-09-14 00:05:06 UTC

it's an entire set of software that requires a good level of knowledge to work with

2018-09-14 00:05:16 UTC

Something like this seems simple enough

2018-09-14 00:05:28 UTC

Wordpress is easy, imo.

2018-09-14 00:05:40 UTC

Dude just spam apps

2018-09-14 00:05:59 UTC

Sometimes they put a bunch of bullhonkey in all that stuff

2018-09-14 00:06:04 UTC

Maybe they don't even care

2018-09-14 00:06:34 UTC

If they call you just say "I have some basic experience with WordPress but I'm still learning" then just practice it before they hire you lmao

2018-09-14 00:09:28 UTC

How does applying to multiple jobs at a time work? What if your second choice offers to hire you first? Do you just schedule your interviews so that your first choice job is first? Do you just not care, since getting a job is already hard enough?
