All day, every day, my diversity hire boss is always riding me about this, that, or the other tedious and ultimately inconsequential thing that she's asked me to do, and so I look back into her eyes to see if I can glean even the slightest hint of understanding that the world is coming apart around us, and all I see is a "sheeeeeeeeeiiiiiit" meme in a wig...
