@YourFundamentalTheorum When I moved to Maryland I had to go to a mostly black elementary school for a year. It was awful. My parents promptly moved to an almost entirely white area after that and I thank them for it.

I went to a majority hispanic high school. Many were very, very disagreeable people that ended up in prison or gangs

I actually bonded with the more intellectual of them

we actually had a little cuckservative/lolbertarian counterculture going on

They knew I wasn't going to get the education or social life I needed to thrive in that environment.

They basically pushed the boundaries of what they could afford to give me a better life.
