I suppose that it could start some sort of Polish-American baby boom, and business boom wherever the permanent base in implanted, and if they pay more than what the base costs, we're getting a good deal out of the whole thing
i bet Hungary starts asking next, followed by excellent trade deals with Italy
The EU would make that impossible, but with that we could incentivize the Gabagolexit from the EU
It would be awesome if the Officers, and the Commanders for the base would become heavily influenced by Populism, and European Nationalism, after seeing such a peaceful Country and dealing with the locals
US military bases tend to bring problems. A bunch of diverse young men will do that. It's a big issue in Japan. I can see why Poland is afraid of Russia though. Hopefully there won't be a Polish equivalent of the Rhineland bastards from this
That's my only concern, the diverse soldiers going over there and causing problems.
poland keeps refugees out, then invites america's diverse military <:sad:366743316475281408>
The advantage of this is more that it might bring Trump to Poland again and give him some good ideas for what a country ought to be
@Goose That diverse military would probably miscegenate with the local girls too because the girls would see them as "exotic". π
Isn't the Polish government kind of cucked? I hear they're not for the people at all, it makes a lot of sense to bring in the U.S military to diversify and influence Poland from within, if that's your goal
Poland is perpetually fearful of invasion
Story of their lives
@Nemets i agree, but i'd still enjoy watching european countries leave the EU and ask to join the United States
@Nemets I didn't want to back-pill the thought of a U.S base in Poland, but that was my immediate first thought
@The Eternal Anglo I don't think a Polish-American baby boom would be a good thing
An entire city of confused kids stuck between two cultures isn't a good thing
Sounds like a disaster, honestly
Also, the Russia threat is totally overblown. The reason Ukraine got "invaded" was because some wackos got away with a violent coup and people understandably wanted out of that deal.
What goes on in Eastern Europe is none of our concern. The U.S. has not vital interests there.

Also with any graph/chart, whatever it may be, like that are stupid and just fear mongering

i stand by my belief that more euro nations will try to form closer alliances with the US so they have more support when escaping the EU
Ha. That graph is so stupid complicated. Why canβt they just accept that some of us donβt want to go extinct.
I'm glad they included Jim

There will be statues of Salvini in every Italian city someday
I hope so...
Same goes for Orban in Hungary. When we win, they'll go down as heroes. Merkel, Macron, May, Trudeau, etc will be rightly called traitors
Those traitors are doing irreparable damage to their countries. π¦
Nothing is irreparable. Not yet at least
