Is it unreasonable for me to spend that kind of time getting to a grocery store? The prices and selection are just too great to pass up

2018-09-19 23:11:51 UTC

I love it 😃 They know me so well at the store, that they even know exactly how to bag my items for me now so it'll fit in my m/c bags properly.

2018-09-19 23:11:54 UTC

Normally I'd put it off until later since I have homework, but tomorrow I'm trying to get a job interview, so I definitely won't have time

2018-09-19 23:11:55 UTC

I'd say yes if you are buying for a while.

2018-09-19 23:12:04 UTC

An hour and a half away? Dude...

2018-09-19 23:12:05 UTC

Yes to what?

2018-09-19 23:12:26 UTC

But 1.5 hours is pretty crazy. Gas alone might make up any difference you saved. :-p

2018-09-19 23:12:32 UTC

An hour and a half drive to get groceries? One way?

2018-09-19 23:12:43 UTC

I don't use gas, that's why it's so far 😉

2018-09-19 23:12:48 UTC

I don't have a car

2018-09-19 23:12:56 UTC

If I had a car it wouldn't take that long

2018-09-19 23:13:02 UTC

Ah ok. Still 3 hours of your life gone though.

2018-09-19 23:13:11 UTC

Are you taking the bus?

2018-09-19 23:13:13 UTC

yep

2018-09-19 23:13:22 UTC

idk maybe I can do something productive on my phone

2018-09-19 23:13:33 UTC

Basically, you can only shop for what you can fit in your backpack

2018-09-19 23:13:41 UTC

@Flint You learn to be extremely frugal, selective, and resist impulse buying when you do all your grocery shopping on a motorcycle!

2018-09-19 23:13:59 UTC

Yeah, you're going to be going a lot, then

2018-09-19 23:14:00 UTC

@Flint Backpack, 2 saddle bags, and a sissy bar bag

2018-09-19 23:14:19 UTC

@Flint Ya, but that applies to any store I go to. Also my backpack is pretty big and I can carry two bags. So I don't think that's an issue.

2018-09-19 23:14:27 UTC

My only issue really is whether it's a waste of time.

2018-09-19 23:14:37 UTC

@Phillip Wiglesworth - FL That's not too bad, then. That's a lot more bags on your bike than most have

2018-09-19 23:15:10 UTC

@Jacob yeah dude, it's a waste of time. You may save a few bucks, but a 3 hour round trip?

2018-09-19 23:15:15 UTC

@Flint When I buy bread stuffs, they go on my lap 😂 or charcoal, when I'm gonna BBQ. Get funny looks with a bag of charcoal on my lap

2018-09-19 23:16:17 UTC

3 hour round trip will get old real quick. You're going to find yourself tightening your diet just so you don't have to go out there again.

2018-09-19 23:16:24 UTC

Save good money plus it's a massive selection

2018-09-19 23:16:39 UTC

idk, I'm used to taking long trips everywhere since I've never had a car

2018-09-19 23:16:49 UTC

Do you have Shipt Shopping out there?

2018-09-19 23:16:56 UTC

True hunting and gathering lol

2018-09-19 23:17:20 UTC

Maybe, but it would probably cost more than just going to a more expensive store

2018-09-19 23:17:40 UTC

It definitely won't get old fast because I've gone through worse

2018-09-19 23:18:04 UTC

I had a 4 hour round trip to my old college. That was probably the worst period of my life.

2018-09-19 23:18:11 UTC

I used to have to walk and backpack my groceries in my early 20's. You gotta do what you gotta do

2018-09-19 23:18:18 UTC

Are you rural af?

2018-09-19 23:18:26 UTC

not af, but, somewhat

2018-09-19 23:18:27 UTC

Like, way out there?

2018-09-19 23:18:34 UTC

not way out

2018-09-19 23:18:39 UTC

I'm in a rural college town

2018-09-19 23:19:10 UTC

a lot of people here use public bus and grocery shop, too

2018-09-19 23:19:37 UTC

the bus routes are extremely convenient and have stops at every Publix

2018-09-19 23:19:45 UTC

You should get an awesome bicycle with a ton of straps and metal baskets on it
