It's obviously a half-measure, because it doesn't ultimately confront the premise that we're obliged to do anything at all, but Hungary started an initiative in 2014 called Hungary Helps, which has already directed 50 million euros toward the reconstruction of destroyed Christian homes in the Middle East. Bonus points, too, for their making it Christian-specific, rather than their having to pi$$ away 98% more money on that part of the world.
