"Free" except for the high costs of the GPUs, high energy cost depending on where you live
Wish i invested in some eth a month ago
Eth bottomed out I'm just gonna use it to buy otaku coin
When it gets released
I mined for 5 weeks = 0.5 ETH. Exchanged it for EOS at 5.75. EOS goes to 21.5$ a week later.
"Why would you do that?"
What was your expense
It's only like a 1$ a day
In terms of electricity and fixed cost
Or you could just buy the EOS from the beginning
What about the usability of your pc
You could buy EOS from the beginning, and I did.
Why not do both?
@IAmHiding hey nigger
Well look, if you spend $1 on mining, then you get a free lottery ticket everyday. One that will actually yield results.
Because its a waste of time unless you have like 4 gpus at the min and are doing it effeicently
But its not just 1 dollar
Right, I have 5. And you set it up once and you're efficient.
How much GPUs you running
1080s?
So you gotta add those to your daily cost too
what if you just solve the algos with paper and pen?
@Chad Right Very tasty! Mniam! :))
They're easy to find right now. But they won't be after ETH moons.
My daily cost for those GPU's will be -500.
Im ready to eat some chink food rn tbh
They are worth more than I paid for them.
You could have invested the money you spent on the cards and made way more bank
@IAmHiding It is very good. I made 4 portions
But you could also use your pc to learn how to code or some shit rather than mine
Chad mail me a portion dammit
That's true. But I would've risked that money up front.
Mining is a way of stabilizing everything.
You invest in hardware, make more money than you paid for the hardware, then sell the hardware at 2x the cost.
And in the meantime, you can take massive risks on new coins.
What's the usability of your pc tho
`Mining is a way of stabilizing everything.`
t. Google/Faceberg
Whilst mining
Which one?
Probably a second rig
