Something I haven't heard anyone mention about Kavanaugh and the left's desire to have the FBI investigate him: it's not just that it will buy time for the left and delay the confirmation past the midterms, it's that the "FBI investigation" tactic is to get the "hooks in" and investigate anyone and everyone within range of the target.

The new strategy is all about "finding chargeable offenses" (as Sztrok said about Trump and his campaign)

The left found something that worked: fake accusation or doctored evidence, get the investigation, charge for anything they find (and of course never what was initially sought after) and make the right look like out of control crooks.

This will continue until not effective
