2018-10-07 17:09:29 UTC

well i don't really have a voter record since i just signed up (i think registered for FL), but if there are any vacant positions that need to be filled i could help out

2018-10-07 17:10:00 UTC

Well i think there are Chamber of Delegates elections in the south in october

2018-10-07 17:10:35 UTC

ok, i'll look into that, thx

2018-10-07 17:10:43 UTC

also how do the conventions work?

2018-10-07 17:11:09 UTC

i would like to help out with the platform if that's needed

2018-10-07 17:15:32 UTC

@Deleted User Is annaokear about to be expelled

2018-10-07 17:21:15 UTC

you're looking at Atlasia's resident green libertarian-ish person!

2018-10-07 17:21:20 UTC

2018-10-07 17:21:50 UTC

@Deleted User what kind of platform changes would you suggest to make the feds more of a green-conservative party?

2018-10-07 17:21:56 UTC

Am I Atlasia's resident middle ground could kind of fit anywhere person?

2018-10-07 17:22:32 UTC

used to be LT until he became alt-right :P
so I guess it's you now!

2018-10-07 17:25:35 UTC

@Deleted User one if the ways we had been tackling it was working towards repealing bad regulations while also pushing for environmentally friendly policies (ex. eco-tariffs)

2018-10-07 17:25:41 UTC

I don't really think the Feds would be a green conservative party and really it's mostly a center-center right party. We aren't extreme conservative and already pretty green I think.

2018-10-07 17:27:15 UTC

how would carbon taxes and subsidies/tax breaks for green infrastructure investment play with the fed base?

2018-10-07 17:27:34 UTC

2018-10-07 17:27:50 UTC

Tax breaks for green infrastructure would probably work good.

2018-10-07 17:28:02 UTC

It's hard to tell where Atlasia stands on carbon tax.

2018-10-07 17:28:12 UTC

we already have the carbon tax and the renewable energy rebate and subsidy act

2018-10-07 17:28:25 UTC

2018-10-07 17:28:38 UTC

Considering the a "left winger" in Fremont cut carbon taxes it's a confusing issue.

2018-10-07 17:29:25 UTC

how about vertical farming/hydroponics?

2018-10-07 17:29:38 UTC

No idea

2018-10-07 17:30:25 UTC

That sounds like more of an environmental policy wonk thing.

2018-10-07 17:30:37 UTC

I'm not alt right lol

2018-10-07 17:31:04 UTC

when I was in the House the first time i sponsored the renewable energy rebate and subsidy act to provide incentives for people to invest in renewable energy, also worked with Scott on the carbon tax, worked with Haslam to hold companies accountable for polluting our freshwater sources (and got to sign all 3 into law as president). also wrote the save the bees act to ban certain insecticides known to kill natural pollinators

2018-10-07 17:31:42 UTC

And Mr. Reactionary wrote a bill on environmental tariffs

2018-10-07 17:31:57 UTC

yeah I mentioned the eco-tariffs lol

2018-10-07 17:33:11 UTC

"how about vertical farming/hydroponics?"

hasn't been tackled that I'm aware of, but could be something to work on

2018-10-07 17:34:04 UTC

Also @Deleted User i suggest you join the Fed Main Street Partnership and here's the current convention, you're free to sign in

2018-10-07 17:34:06 UTC

I also do a shit ton of animal welfare stuff but according to Peri those are useless feel good bills :(

2018-10-07 17:34:39 UTC

I'm not really that much of a wonk on that. I'm a transport/communication wonk, as evidenced by bills like the You Can Broadcast Here act and my working with @Deleted User on the bill which raised speed limits in Lincoln and stuff.

2018-10-07 17:35:19 UTC

Make Automobiles Vroom on Autobahns Act!

2018-10-07 17:35:23 UTC

2018-10-07 17:35:26 UTC

Yeah that one.

2018-10-07 17:35:31 UTC

That was a good act.

2018-10-07 17:35:41 UTC

My favorite

2018-10-07 17:36:33 UTC

where can i read more about the house of delegates?

2018-10-07 17:36:38 UTC

I revived the Liberty or Death! Caucus thread in case anyone is interested

2018-10-07 17:36:50 UTC

Go to the Atlasia wiki for info.
