OPSEC question

2018-10-01 21:23:34 UTC

Can an employer get access to your FB messages if you are on their WiFi on your mobile device?

2018-10-01 21:24:06 UTC

@Undercover Academic - IL no, facebook uses https always

2018-10-01 21:24:15 UTC

Even on messenger ?

2018-10-01 21:25:01 UTC

theres a way to do it even with https, but its complex and youre employer isnt going to bother. if you get into any trouble for it itll just be for using FB on the job.

2018-10-01 21:28:56 UTC

guys

2018-10-01 21:29:02 UTC

how do I make a shopping list?

2018-10-01 21:29:14 UTC

is it a bad idea to just go in and get whatever is on sale?

2018-10-01 21:29:32 UTC

yeah, have some idea of what you want/need

2018-10-01 21:30:30 UTC

@Jacob walk around your house and look for things that are missing/ you want to replace, write them down

2018-10-01 21:30:42 UTC

well

2018-10-01 21:30:59 UTC

the problem with looking for what is missing, is I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to have in the first place

2018-10-01 21:31:00 UTC

If you buy something on sale that you weren’t going to buy otherwise you didn’t save any money

2018-10-01 21:31:06 UTC

ya I know

2018-10-01 21:31:25 UTC

why not meal plan, then you know exactly what you need?

2018-10-01 21:31:33 UTC

2018-10-01 21:31:35 UTC

but the idea is that I'm gonna need X amount of vegetables, Y amount of meat, etc, so I just buy those amounts when they're on sale

2018-10-01 21:31:44 UTC

TELL ME THAT AIN'T WHOLESOME

2018-10-01 21:32:01 UTC

Also if you want to go full absolute autist do what I do and keep and excel spreadsheet of what you have on hand, color out cells that you’ve run out of (bread, etc) and just print that list twice a week

2018-10-01 21:32:09 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD idk it sounds hard to pin down exactly how much I'll need of everything

2018-10-01 21:32:21 UTC

hmmm I do have mild autism

2018-10-01 21:32:23 UTC

not if you use recipies and a plan...

2018-10-01 21:32:34 UTC

hmm

2018-10-01 21:32:45 UTC

you'll know exactly what you need, and what to get

2018-10-01 21:32:52 UTC

I kinda don't wanna be tied down to a really specific plan for a week

2018-10-01 21:33:02 UTC

Is there a middle ground?

2018-10-01 21:33:20 UTC

Like, know kind of what I want, but not the whole meal plan thing?

2018-10-01 21:33:26 UTC

i mean, meat can be put in the freezer if you don't want something that was on your plan that day or a couple days later

2018-10-01 21:33:35 UTC

If you keep some like

2018-10-01 21:33:55 UTC

Rice, pasta, etc, on hand all the time there’s a lot you can put with it

2018-10-01 21:34:10 UTC

ya

2018-10-01 21:34:19 UTC

this is probably gonna get cheaper once I'm off keto

2018-10-01 21:34:21 UTC

This is only if you’re not Ketoraging, ofc

2018-10-01 21:34:26 UTC

@Jacob if you don't know that you need something, then you probably don't need it

2018-10-01 21:34:45 UTC
