For all the degeneracy, if you can pardon the cliche, there was something really special about that show. It was definitely a trip going to school in the area it was running.
I also liked "Big Love." Mormon mafia. Bill Paxton's character was as complicated as Tony. Good cautionary tale against the dangers of power (and polygamy)
